Raised in Australia, Sarah began training her voice and in various dance styles at a very young age in notable institutions such as The Dance Works, The Queensland Dance School of Excellence, and The Young Conservatorium of Music.

Sarah Bakker is a versatile artist, excelling as a dancer, singer, and actor, and has graced the stages of some of the world’s most spectacular musicals. Her repertoire includes iconic productions such as Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, An American in Paris, and Mary Poppins. Her performance has taken her to stages worldwide, from Singapore to Chicago, London, Australia, and New York.

Most recently, Sarah took on a starring role in the new production of Phantom of the Opera on the Harbour in Sydney, collaborating with Opera Australia/Handa Opera as Ensemble/Dance Captain. She has also recently joined the JBS Audition Tour faculty.
